Morgan appeared in a film on AIDS education and prevention. Safe Sex for Men and Women. The proceeds was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan serves as a participant on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan has spearheaded numerous other fundraisers for the disease and she also testified in front of a specific Congressional panel on AIDS education. She sits on the Board of Governors of APLA. She has been asked to take over the role of former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop at AIDS-related events. Steve Bell, a news anchor, has also presented a AIDS Awareness Special. Ted Koppell has interviewed her twice about AIDS on Nightline. Morgan has been nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially for Morgan. In spring, she was a guest as Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The film was produced By Zerneck and Sertner and starred Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. The second part of the film took her to Luxembourg and she was a part of the cast as Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan has also been the only actress to appear in the thriller on USA Network's psychological suspense, which garnered some of the highest ratings that this network's seen.
